What is a bitcoin?
It is a cryptocurrency – that is, a virtual currency – that emerged in 2008 to make transactions exclusively in the network. It is not something that you can change for cash but to make buying and selling operations on multiple platforms and every day more companies accept it.
For example, the airline Peach, of Japan, already receives air ticket payments in this currency, and adds to many others that do so as Microsoft, DELL, Amazon and Airbnb.
The best thing is that you can buy fractions of currency so that the disbursement is not so big and so, invest in this currency. However be very careful because, like all things on the internet, there is still no firm regulation that can support you, and like all investments, it is volatile and susceptible to market changes.
